Tuition Assistance (TA) for retirees is a pilot program to take effect as of January 1,
2008. Money spent relating to this pilot program will apply to the previous year's
unspent balance under the 20% cap.

The following standards apply to this pilot program:

    Retirees will be allowed to use up to $1,800 in Tuition Assistance for a period of
    one year following retirement.

    Funding for this retiree benefit will come from the site's approved but unused TA
    funding from the previous calendar year.

    Since there is a natural limitation on funds, retiree requests will be met on a first-
    come/first-served basis.
